When working or living within the Netherlands you must insure yourself for the costs of any medical care that may need to be given. Arranging cover for health insurance in the Netherlands secures this. This is a must even if you only work in the Netherlands and live elsewhere. If you work and pay tax in the Netherlands then you must insure yourself for health insurance in the Netherlands by arranging health insurance insurance.
Arranging cover for Health Insurance in the Netherlands
It is up to personal preference which health insurer you arrange cover for health insurance in the Netherlands with. Your employer may have collective health insurance with preferred terms for their employees and may request that you join up; it would be best to discuss this with your employer and arrange health insurance in the Netherlands that you are happy with.

If someone can get a care allowance will depend on their income amount. The lower the income then the higher the care allowance.
